I am writing on behalf of the Association of Developing Social Life in Izmir / Turkey.

We are writing a proposal on women empowerment and we look for relevant partners from the Western Balkans.

The deadline for this project is on the 31st of May.

Programme: European Commission Western Balkans and Turkey Civil Society Facility: Partnership actions- Empowerment of Women
Project Name: Integration of Migrant Women in Urban Life for Enhancing Women’s Empowerment and Gender Equality
Budget: Max. 200.000 Euro

Objectives of the Programme:
• Identify and exchange best practices in terms of civil society empowerment especially among women’s CSOs for enhancing participatory democracy; Support actions for developing strong partnership among CSOs in the region
• Enable and support to establish joint activities among partners and CSOs for future projects
• Enhance cooperation between Civil Society Organizations and public authorities in terms of partnership in gender mainstreaming and social inclusion policies
• Support actions to strengthen civil society for developing gender mainstreaming

Possible Activities:
• Develop capacity building workshops among partner countries and EU member state in order to share best practices
• Organize timely meetings in order to develop sustainable projects among partners
• Organize mutual field trips with state authorities in partner countries to observe on-going projects, best practices and develop fitting remarks and implementation for their own institutions
• Create mutual social media campaigns to raise awareness about the related issues among partner institutions
• Develop comparative analysis among partner institutions to increase their institutional capacity and produce new policies for problematic policy areas
• Organize conferences and symposiums, conduct research and produce publications about social integration, gender equality, capacity building and in order to combat against stereotyping and discrimination at national and regional level
• Lobbying activities performing at parliamentary level
• Organize an election to choose women representatives for each local district and to give extensive training for elected young women leaders on capacity-building, human rights, leadership, local and CSO governance, employment and best practices to combat discrimination across EU
• Support informative actions to increase women’ representation in City Councils
• Exchange and share best practices for creating effective pressure groups for prompting legal reforms among EU member states and other countries in the region
• Organize technical visits and study tours to Women’s CSOs and research centers on migration and women studies in partner and other EU member countries in order to exchange experiences and organize mutual workshops and trainings
• Organize trainings and workshops for various stakeholders who have direct communication with our target group, such as professional municipal administrators, members of board of governors, officers of the related districts, religious affairs officers, police department officers, officers in women solidarity centers etc.
• Ally with some responsive commentators who focuses on topics such as women’s empowerment, discrimination and migration and organize mutual workshops especially among commentators and politicians
• Organize an International Conference to discuss the related topics with the issue and develop concrete action plans among bureaucrats, commentators, academicians and CSOs professionals from Turkey, the partner countries and EU member states.
• Establish a sustainable network at regional level among Women’s NGOs

we are loking partners from EU countries in area food safety, rural development,development local municipality,social incluzion,development capacity IPA and PCM.
